white summer dressing

If you missed out on the top they've just added the dress version here. If you prefer more structure this one-shoulder dress is exactly like the Tibi one, or you could try this jumpsuit. Pack the wet wipes and don't sit down anywhere. How very relaxing.

wedding outfits and that self-portrait dress...

How annoying. The Times (and everyone on the planet) featured my Self-Portrait summer dress of dreams, and yep it has nearly sold out. The label I wrote about here is now literally everywhere. This one above is another contender, just as gorgeous, and so is the midi skirt.

I love the idea of a romper/short jumpsuit for weddings. Pandora Sykes looked great in this Temperley London one. You can add these flats and lunge on the dance floor all night. Paul and Joe Sister have a print one which you could dress up with a simple jacket. I also have my eye on all the culottes around, Tibi (in the sale), Whistles and Asos have great selections, just add dramatic shoes. Absolutely no fascinators allowed ;)

shopping at cos..and finding great black trousers

I just found the best black trousers at Cos, maybe not a Memorial Day must-have but there you go. I popped into their Soho store and loved...this jumpsuit, this print, this metallic coat, this dress, this top, and this cut-out one, and these sandals. The culottes and jewels looked great too.

zara culotte-style jumpsuit

I have always been a fan of the jumpsuit. Easy, cool and great for summer when my legs are illuminous white. Wintery ones are harder to find but this deep V, culotte-style at Zara is gorgeous. I would dress it down with a leather jacket, it could easily work for meetings, dinner, christmas parties, black tie weddings...also check out this Mango one and this Splendid number.

hatch jumpsuit

My girlfriend wore this jumpsuit last week to drinks (v. strong cocktails at Clover Club and dinner at Dover) and it looks amazing on. Really simple, great with heels or flats and easy to pile jewels on. Hatch design gorgeous items for pregnancy and beyond, I might have lost it but I am so tempted to get this just to float about in... imagine how much cake you could eat?

Mango is having a bit of a moment this season. I really want to buy the short dungarees (they do a long version too) and one of the white lacy tops....

hint hint

You can pretty much guarantee he hasn't been shopping yet. There is still plenty of time to send enormous, unsubtle hints. Here are a few things which caught my eye recently...in no particular order...the lust list...

Fabulous, need them

I spied these at the Christmas Fair last Thursday, by Melissa Lo

Spotted these too, of course I like the grey one, or blue, by Niin

I have lusted after this for a few months now, so has everyone else, it sold out on My-Wardrobe

I haven't gone for this brogue/oxford trend but these are making me think otherwise, by Mulberry

It caused a lot of controversy, what a brilliant addition to the sofa, by Jonathan Adler

I'd love to adorn an entire wall with these gorgeous gold flower garlands from Toast

The perfect blue dress for spring by Stella McCartney, keep an eye out for funny hem lengths, very 2011

The perfect post Christmas lunch outfit courtesy of 3.1 Phillip Lim, the only onesie I'd wear

introducing nude is rude

Of course you've booked your Oyster 655 to sail round the islands off Phuket this Christmas. You need outfits for said trip. A mix of glamour and comfort is the key to stylish yachting attire. I've found you a brand new boutique which is ideal for holidays, and perfect for when you get home too. Marisa Zeman has launched her own label Nude is Rude, we met up in her showroom and I wasn't intending to buy anything, 2 hours later and whoops. I know a few people who have done the same. Love her stuff, perfect for posing on the pontoon, by the pool/beach bar/club la la. I found outfit upon outfit, from cosy soft cottons in great shapes to slinky silk dresses, foxy jumpsuits (I'm in heaven) and kaftans in fabulous Matthew Williamson-style prints. Her prices are spot on, from around HK$580 upwards. The hot Kiribati bikinis by Bridie are also available, as are my favourite Cochine candles and scents by Kate. Jewellery and bags are coming soon, she's been a busy bee. Pop in before the masses find out and snap it all up. Call first on +852 2867 8842, 16/F, No.1 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong.

Love rug

I headed straight for this rail, love the gold

Stylish casual separates which can be dressed up very easily

More gold

Gorgeous silk kaftans, shirts and dresses

Bright prints, perfect for posing

I really wanted to steal this mirror, spot the lovely candles and bikinis too...

langkawi

I popped over to Langkawi for a few days, like you do, and stayed at Temple Tree which is the younger sister of the infamous Bon Ton Resort. I could have moved in. They look after abandoned cats and dogs from around Malaysia so there are gorgeous cats everywhere (I dream of being a crazy old cat woman, rocking back and forth on my veranda), the food is delicious and the whole place has a super relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The owner Nurell has done a fantastic job, its pretty obvious she is an interior designer, I wanted to ship every piece of furniture home and the old Malaysian houses are just stunning. I did some Yoga with Dorothy of Langkawi Yoga, she runs retreats on the island and holds classes at the resorts. Of course, I also found a shop (at Bon Ton Resort), and bought my 28 millionth jumpsuit, for only HK$450, bargain. Here are some pics, make sure you stay there if you ever go to the island, it is so unique and homely compared to those giant branded hotels.

grey daze

Transeasonal dressing (note: big grown up fashion terminology) means I wear a lot of grey. I love grey, it is sophisticated, it doesn't shout, it just rocks. It goes well with electric blue, pink, white, cream and black. I have been asked a gazillion times where I got my trendy grey trousers from, and girls, you are in luck, they are in the sale for 39.95 GBP (down from 78) at Anthropologie (if you're listening, move to Hong Kong Anthro people, please.) I saw this gorgeous grey jumpsuit by Sandro at Rue Madame, for HK$2100, just add huge heels and a smile. Accessorise with one of these perfect wallet/clutches from Singapore's Gina & Jake, created by ex Fenwicks fashion accessories buyer Georgina. She has added a very pretty floral lining, just to make you smile every time you spank your credit card. They are in the sale until end of August, priced at 150S$ (approx HK$917). So spank on girls and rock the grey.
