My little man just turned two…eeeeeek!!! I was chatting to a (cool :)) Mum at toddler group the other week, she's just had a baby boy and is struggling for non-naff clothes…so I made a list…

(and yes I totally know its bonkers to spend loads so I buy in sales or buy larger sizes)

h&m for skinny trousers (especially with suspenders), shorts and basic tops

For the last year or so my shopping eye has been very much focused on my little man. Finding stylish outfits for boys has been a challenge, I ogle floral print smocks and then find myself buying him his three hundred millionth striped top. So I'll share a few tips on the blog. Hope it helps x

aberdeen is cool

There's something happening in Aberdeen. Everyone I know is looking at New York style warehouse apartments off Hueng Yip Road, Andrea, the hottest Italian in Hong Kong, runs his private dining empire in a very cool space round the corner (Cuore Private Chef - make sure you have his Grandmothers lasagna), Flex opened a yoga and pilates studio nearby, and now the arrival of Mirth. As you know I love a new find, I popped in on Saturday to see Kylie, she's been here 11 years and runs her own children's clothing label. Her and her business partner had had their eye on the space below for a while, and 2 weeks ago they unveiled a new interiors and lifestyle store. A stylish combination of cashmere, unusual gifts, bags, cards, furniture, children's clothes, and what my mother would call "nick nacks", make it a new secretstylist fave. I spied Lisa Stickley, Love Molly cashmere, rustic wooden tables, huge stools in bright prints, tall lamps, pretty paper flowers and stylish well-priced cards, which, for some reason there is a total lack of in Hong Kong. little ones

I don’t normally focus on baby clothes/maternity and I would really like it if people would stop asking ask me when I will be having a child since I got married, if that's OK, thanks. Mini rant over. I have had my beady little eye drawn to this rather cute site called Hip Little Bubba which just launched in our beloved HK. And, it has to be said that if the secretstylist was to have a child it...

a) would have to be a girl

b) would be incredibly stylish and would probably wear one of these items...

Oh and c) I would buy this for my friends' babies so that my little one rocked the style stakes and theirs looked pure comedy at the play dates...mwaaaaahhhh ha ha ha ha (evil laugh, proving that I am still clearly very immature and probably not quite ready for child rearing).
