Slightly chilly weather out there. I've spied this sleeveless tunic style at Whistles (great with culottes), this stripe by Cheap Monday (similar to the YSL or Chloe one), this chunky white by Topshop Unique (which has been spotted on a lot of editors) simple stripes at APC, classic grey ribbed knit by Maje (above) and the high street cashmere hero at Uniqlo.

All the cool kids know that sleeveless is the way to go this year. And this is grey. Yum.

& Other Stories opened recently in Soho. A sister brand to H&M, my UK buddies love this place. I can see why. The knitwear this season looks gorgeous, navy leopard print with gold bits urmmmmmmm and just look at this coat. Pop in at 575 Broadway.

Oh look, some more grey knitwear, but its got zips, and its 25% off....slight zip obsession at the moment, husband calls me Zippy. I like the cream version, and I also love this bright vintage-style clutch (in the sale too), you can also monogram it, which New Yorkers love to do :)

I spied this in Whistles on Marylebone High Street. A boxy cut, looks great with leather and it is in the sale...

According to America today is the first day of fall. According to the secretstylist now is the time to buy a cropped, cable or waffle knit. Make it a touch slouchy, perhaps wear it off the shoulder, layer it, add chunky necklaces or toughen it with leather trousers/shorts/jackets...trust me they can look sooooo good. Happy fall!

success at the sale

We went a bit crazy at the sale on Thursday, I think it was pre-Rihanna party excitement. Look what Clare bought, just divine, of course it helps that she is not too ugly to look at. Watch out for her, and others at the sale, appearing in Hong Kong Tatler soon. Alice in Wondaland had some stunning pieces, I could have bought everything. Maddy's cashmere waistcoats (in a gorgeous caramel colour) flew off the shelves, Cochine candles wooed everyone, and the jewels by Melissa Lo sparkled. I showed off my new business cards, as expertly photographed below by the lovely Raf Sanchez. Thanks Raf.

I am so excited, I get my first taste of alcohol in 2010 tonight, and secondly there is a fab sale next week to tell you about. Madeleine Thompson, the very cool cashmere designer has a small selection of her Spring Summer 2010 collection available next Wednesday. She doesn't sell in HK so this is a great chance to purchase her divine pieces without globe shlepping to Barneys or Matches. foxy cardigans

Officially freezing in Honkers. Time to get out the tights, cashmere and UGGs. And your foxy Cardigans. It must be an English thing, we barely leave the house without a trusty Cardi, just in case the weather changes dramatically on the way to Waitrose. I love them and I don't think they are granny-ish or boring. I bought two recently, one long, slim cashmere one from M&S (as shown). It makes me feel like a cosy bunny and looks great over leggings/tights teamed with boots and a bit of bling jewellery or a colourful belt. The other is a short fitted cream one, it is trimmed with crystals and is perfect for brightening up your basics. I dug it out of a cardboard box in one of my fave shops Magic Wardrobe (I also managed to buy a a little black dress with feathers on the bottom...very frou frou and I am predicting a lot of frou frou feather action this coming year). Magic Wardrobe is at Shop 74, 1/F, Tower 2, Admiralty Centre and also under the stairs at Western Market. P.s Look out for me in the FT Business Travel Guide out tomorrow!!!!
