november nights...

This post might be a little lacking in effort due to a fun Tory Burch event last night where Piers (awesome photographer) met Hil from Lyst and Laura from Elle... sorry for the fuzzy photos!

Happenings in Hong Kong which you can't miss this November...

I spent Friday and Saturday at Semi-Permanent listening to creative minds from around the globe, Danny Yount, Simon Birch, John Merrifield, Nabil Elderkin, Troika, Anomaly and many more (see details here). It was nice to see there were creative people (attending the conference) in Hong Kong, something beyond the suits, lawyers and bankers. There were even a few crusty people, love it! I miss being around people with slightly wonky hair/funny glasses/ odd trousers and a total indifference to what you think of them. One of my favourite speakers, fashion photographer Kayt Jones, shared her story and stunning images. I loved the fact she was such a romantic, and so humble about her success...plus...she had great shoes. You can see her work for yourself at Lane Crawford this week. So bring on more creative love-ins please, they are incredibly inspiring and energising. Thank god they'll be back next year.
