edit 58 launches

Edit 58 launched a few weeks ago and we love it all. Personalised kids baskets in neon pink (which make the perfect gifts), grey blankets with pink pom poms, those coveted Eliza Gran baskets, oh and epic rugs.

Nope these aren't for me. They're for the little man. I bought Gap toddler girl overalls a few sizes up, the legs are slimmer. For a similar look (for you)... Madewell, Gap, H and M, Selected Femme, looove this below at Reformation, Anthropologie.

I spotted these mid-heel beauties on instagram. Zara again, yep I know, but they are storming this season. This blouse/jacket has sold out everywhere after the Man Repeller wore it. This mini bucket bag is on my wish list, love this print, and I really like their kids collections, especially the shirts, leggings and slim trousers for boys.

My little man just turned two…eeeeeek!!! I was chatting to a (cool :)) Mum at toddler group the other week, she's just had a baby boy and is struggling for non-naff clothes…so I made a list…

(and yes I totally know its bonkers to spend loads so I buy in sales or buy larger sizes) 

zara for leggings and shirts (etsy can throw up some great leggings too) 

h&m for skinny trousers (especially with suspenders), shorts and basic tops

gap for basic plain tops, sweatshirts

 little titans for great tights (buy big and they last two winters)

la coqueta kids for an old fashioned look (their navy coat is gorgeous) and cute shoes

krochet kids hats for a good cause

Things we've been chatting about recently at secretstylist HQ…aren't these boots incredible? can we buy these ears for ourselves? what about a velvet print dress for christmas parties? or animal? how gorgeous this knit is (spied on cup of jo) …have you ordered your fur yet? If I buy this for my man I can totally borrow it…

don't forget the kids section

I've been getting a lot of compliments on this jacket. A Zara Kids purchase (inspired by this Maje print) and, yep the arms are a bit short and I don't show the fluffy inside but its all good and warm too. The kids section often throws up some goodies (bags, hats too) and my friend swears by the junior section for interiors, she bought a rug which was entirely the same but a couple of hundred bucks cheaper. Smug.

For the last year or so my shopping eye has been very much focused on my little man. Finding stylish outfits for boys has been a challenge, I ogle floral print smocks and then find myself buying him his three hundred millionth striped top. So I'll share a few tips on the blog. Hope it helps x

I met up with the lovely Zoie from Kid & Coe recently, her company offers stylish abodes all over the world for those of us with little ones. We stayed here the weekend before Christmas, so close to Marylebone High Street, super stylish interiors and everything you need for the babe. I nearly moved in.
