I don't pretend to be a beauty expert but I think India Knight just might be. I tried this Benefit mascara, as recommended by her, and loved it. I've also recently found the prettiest nude nail polish by Essie and a great high factor everyday sunscreen for your face.

Really pretty palm print at Warehouse, they do a top and dress too. Breaking news...I went for a facial at Caudalie. No wonder the waiting list is decades long, it was great, my skin is all glowy and dewey...or is that the humidity...anyway, if you are in need of a treat I would head to their Bleecker boutique.

mango denim and a great fake tan

Just bought this top at Mango and am loving it, tempted by the floaty shorts too...I will be preparing my pale pins with this fake tan by La Mer. Pricey yep, but I've read great reviews, it lacks the biscuit/wee smell and doesn't streak. Amazing.

Did you see The Times article about new You Tube channel The Beauty Of It launched by beauty journalists Alice du Parcq and Emma Gunavardhan? After recently buying a great concealer (Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer), which popular beauty You Tuber Tanya Burr swears by, I reckon this is a good place to find beauty gems. Alice and Emma are experienced, chatty and honest. I will definitely be trying the Clarins blush they reviewed, I better look good girls...

I met my girlfriend Clare for coffee the other day, she looked sparkly and glowy and not her usual hungover self ;) she had just tried (and snapped up) this BB cream from Yves Saint Laurent. India Knight raved about it in The Times a few weekends ago. I checked in today and Clare says she still looks hot... might be worth a try?
