How annoying. The Times (and everyone on the planet) featured my Self-Portrait summer dress of dreams, and yep it has nearly sold out. The label I wrote about here is now literally everywhere. This one above is another contender, just as gorgeous, and so is the midi skirt.

I love the idea of a romper/short jumpsuit for weddings. Pandora Sykes looked great in this Temperley London one. You can add these flats and lunge on the dance floor all night. Paul and Joe Sister have a print one which you could dress up with a simple jacket. I also have my eye on all the culottes around, Tibi (in the sale), Whistles and Asos have great selections, just add dramatic shoes. Absolutely no fascinators allowed ;)

oscars 2015 best dressed

I didn't fall madly in love with any of the dresses this year but these three looks stood out. Sienna in Oscar de la Renta (her make up was incredible, see how Charlotte Tilbury worked her magic here), Marion Cotillard in Dior and Naomi Watts in Armani. Gorgeous x

I hope you all had a very happy thanksgiving :) I am particularly thankful for the fact capes are still in, and I keep spotting gorgeous tassels everywhere...cape from Mango (Zara has a cute grey one too), earrings by Asos, tassel pendant by Eddie Borgo at Bergdorf Goodman and necklace at Stella & Dot.

hong kong girls launch online sustainable fashion boutique a boy named sue

Hong Kong girls Sam and Tania have just launched their new online boutique, A Boy Named Sue. Their mission was to find sustainable fashion labels which look good. I think they've succeeded, love this jacket made from reclaimed leather, the iPad cover/clutch (very this season), pink bobble hat (everyone in NYC seems to be wearing these...see stylish ways here) and a simple soft grey tee. P.s they ship all over our little world...

lesley blume lets bring back cocktails and lulu frost jewels

I met the fabulous Lesley Blume last night, she was rocking black and gold vintage Oleg Cassini (I am pretending I know who that is), the crowd was cool and buzzy, assisted nicely by the free-flowing Hendricks Gin for her cocktail book launch, "Let's Bring Back" at Hotel Americano (check the names... Angel's Tit was a hit...) this pretty much sums up the evening:

Lesley also teamed up with Lulu Frost designer Lisa Salzer to launch this limited collection Let's Bring Back by Lulu Frost for Moda Operandi, available for pre-order until the end of today! They officialy launch in early 2013, so treat yourself, the start of the year always needs a bit of sparkle in the post.

The lovely Ariela previewed her new collection for Sequence this week in New York. Having worked in the fashion industry for years she decided to change direction and collaborate with artisans in her home town of El Salvador. Now she's helping the community, keeping ancient  techniques alive, and creating stylish accessories...she's a goodie (that's her, in the top right pic)....I love the gold braided necklaces/headbands and chunky cuffs...
