People keep quizzing me about the best ones. I've spied denim at Zara, tunic style by Tibi (I've seen this on people in the village and it looks great), dress at Mango (the sale just started), another dress by Reformation (love), simple black top at Topshop (they also have dresses and playsuits), pretty print at Dvf, and popular with the bloggers - stripes at Asos.

Stylish and sustainable don't normally gel that well. LA brand Reformation seem to have nailed it though. New styles sell out fast and I've noticed a lot of chatter about them here in New York. Read more about their work here. I love the looks above, pretty well priced too. Just off to work on my midriff...

New boho/embroidered/lacy/white top needed urgently please. I know we should be chatting about knits and boots but I can't help clinging on to summer with these Calypso sale goodies. I've been living in this dress recently. Great V, especially at the back as its quite low, and I love a dress with pockets. I saw it in a fairly new boutique on Greenwich Avenue called Personnel of New York. Lovely stuff. The dress is by Alternative Apparel.

Favourite Boutique – Opening Ceremony or Kirna Zabete – Love both of these downtown spots – they always give a great easy overview of the season's must-have pieces.  Also love Chuckies as my little neighborhood shoe spot (1073 3rd Avenue) – they have great private label shoes that are perfect for weekend wear…

Bar – The Mark Hotel, 22 East 77th Street (fun to meet a group of girls or another couple – always interesting people watching!)

Restaurant – Pulqueria, 11 Doyers Street (the most amazing mexican food) and fabulous hidden atmosphere in China Town – down a secret stairway - you wouldn't even know it was there!

Coffee Spot – Bel Ami 30 E 68th Street (best coffee and pastries) hits the spot daily after morning drop off (for my daughter!)

Beauty Haven – Weekly mani/pedi's at Nail Niobe  - 1044 3rd Ave are a must (and they do great back massages too), or any vacation hotel spa (my only free time to get a massage!) Four Season's are the best spas anywhere in the world!
