i've got knits

Slightly chilly weather out there. I've spied this sleeveless tunic style at Whistles (great with culottes), this stripe by Cheap Monday (similar to the YSL or Chloe one), this chunky white by Topshop Unique (which has been spotted on a lot of editors) simple stripes at APC, classic grey ribbed knit by Maje (above) and the high street cashmere hero at Uniqlo.

Love a ruffle. I picked this one up at H&M. This is how good it looks on super stylist Martha Ward. More ruffle inspiration here, love this See by Chloe. 

the best strapless bra ever

So I found another one, what a peachy beauty it is. I also found you the best strapless bra. Simone Perele at Journelle. Not too padded, pretty lace and the nude colour isn't offensive. Have a great weekend x 

the best off the shoulder

People keep quizzing me about the best ones. I've spied denim at Zara, tunic style by Tibi (I've seen this on people in the village and it looks great), dress at Mango (the sale just started), another dress by Reformation (love), simple black top at Topshop (they also have dresses and playsuits), pretty print at Dvf, and popular with the bloggers - stripes at Asos. 

shopping at cos..and finding great black trousers

I just found the best black trousers at Cos, maybe not a Memorial Day must-have but there you go. I popped into their Soho store and loved...this jumpsuit, this print, this metallic coat, this dress, this top, and this cut-out one, and these sandals. The culottes and jewels looked great too.

Embroidery, eyelets and all that lovely stuff is everywhere this summer, mostly in white. So go for black. Topshop.

I am so bored of winter. Lets move on to Spring. Cecilie Copenhagen is popping up everywhere. A pretty print, perhaps not worthy of the 110 USD price tag but I haven't seen the fabric up close. everyone in new york is wearing…

I can't stop posting black and white pics. Anyway, I've seen a lot of culottes at Christmas parties these past few weeks, they look amazing and are great for impromptu lunging/dancing. Obviously. I wore my jumpsuit one with feathers. Someone thought it was Celine but they were probably very drunk. Another friend had a Tibi pair and another girl wore hers with pop socks and cool pointy pumps….lovely. What I really had my eye on though was the leather bow my hairdresser wore (Mai at Bumble & Bumble downtown, amazing colorist), she always always wears black and was rocking this large leather bow around her neck. Great idea, a twist on the 70s blouse look which was all over the catwalks. You could add it to a simple grey t-shirt and wear with skinny trousers or a big skirt like this one (worn by Alex at The Frugality), found these ones on etsy. Great Christmas day outfit?

This is one of the best around. My Mango one went a bit off white, the H&M one burnt when I attempted to iron it...ha ha I'm not very domesticated...and then I saw this one looking  rather pretty here. It will last into Autumn if you layer it and/or add a leather jacket (or this gorgeous suede one...ok I'm stalking now). Snap it up, not many left.

Really pretty top at Pixie Market. Would look great with shorts, skinny jeans (especially white), over a bikini etc etc. Plus bell sleeves mean slim arms...whoop.

the prettiest camisole by jigsaw

This silk camisole is just so pretty. It would be perfectly dressed down with boyfriend shorts and chic flats. Jigsaw often have a few gems, I love this print kimono top and their bags.

mango denim and a great fake tan

Just bought this top at Mango and am loving it, tempted by the floaty shorts too...I will be preparing my pale pins with this fake tan by La Mer. Pricey yep, but I've read great reviews, it lacks the biscuit/wee smell and doesn't streak. Amazing. 

mango...dungarees and isabel marant-style tops

Mango is having a bit of a moment this season. I really want to buy the short dungarees (they do a long version too) and one of the white lacy tops....
