Neither of these topics have anything to do with each other, but I just had to write about what a complete sex god/rock legend the Rod is. His show on Saturday night was completely amazing. He is not only immensely talented but he looks like he is having such a laugh on stage. His dance moves were classic (imagine spindly bird legs doing odd twists and then a quick hip thrust - hilarious). OK Rod rant over. Onto a more serious style note. I am always being asked "where are the best places to get shoes made?" I have a few tried and tested places for you to try, depending on budget, but I would also urge you to check out the Amaya label when you are next in Lane Crawford, I get most of my shoes there and they always get a lot of loving from the public at large.

LIII LIII/Alan Chan - everyone has heard of them and they are good, they have all the latest styles and know their designer shapes, but they are on the pricey side so bargain hard. Shop No 75, 1st Floor, Tower 2, Admiralty Centre, 18 Harcourt Road
JJ Partners - a smidgen cheaper and still very reliable for stylish footwear, less designer looks but they can copy anything you bring in. I would use them for work/everyday shoes rather than something super special. G/Floor, 173 Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley (round the corner from The Football Club).
Vickie's - a little more cheap and cheerful, I've had pumps made here and loved them, well made and a good selection of colours and styles. Your Mum would like it. G/Floor, 25 Li Yuen Street, off Queens Road Central, also on Queen Victoria Street.
