I am always slightly surprised that I don't love all of the red carpet dresses at these events, they have months to plan their look, staff to organise their outfits and designers on hand to lend dresses. Mental. Hey ho. These are my picks...oh and well done Colin Firth and The King's Speech, fantastic film and an even more fabulous actor.
Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein, WOW, I just LOVE this dress, so simple but incredibly stunning, and you have to have a seriously hot body to pull it off
Cate Blanchett in Givenchy haute couture, she always takes a risk on the red carpet and I like this one, maybe not the strange yellow frog spawn on the back but I love the overall colour, detail and shape
Celine Dion in Armani Privé, not normally a style guru but I like the long sleeves, the simple shape and the subtle shimmer
