Gosh I am hungover. Lola & Syd was great, but some of us drank too much, some ate Maccy D's and some went out until 4.30am. Naughty Naughty and Naughty. I spied some fun shoes (Hearts, left, HK$360) at the weekend as I ventured into 2 Queen Fashion in the Valley. They have a few fab pieces in there, some Kate Moss Topshop numbers which are rather tasty, HK$700 as sported above, spinning like a person on day release - I do not advise this on a Sunday after Happy Foot. I LOVE gold. I have a gold handbag, wallet, business card thingymayjig, oodles of shoes, earrings, bangles etc. It is just the best. I've seen a lot of gold creeping into our wardrobes lately, fabulous gold trousers and shorts at Tiare on Elgin Street and some gorgeous gold skirts...this one at M&S is fab, high waisted, tulip style and with a little bit of sparkle. Its more antique gold than Pat Butcher, which is what you need. If you are a bit of a HO you can always buy a shorter one. ha ha ha x

Why did the typhoon have to arrive on a Saturday? Monday morning would have been perfectly acceptable. Only one more hour of 24 left, and then I am without Jack Bauer for another 6 months. I can't bear it. Anyway. You need to know about the next Lola & Syd sale. My friend Sally's fabulous label includes shoes, earrings, scarves, bags, clutches, belts and rings. She has exquisite taste, for an Australian, and it makes a nice change from the usual Hong Kong Shopping blurgh. I bought loads in the last sale and I have been complimented on them ever since, that may be, however, because I am enormously hot, who knows...
